This is the first time we’ve brought this out of its scabbard. We’ve never released a Double IPA - and this will make its debut at our 5th Anniversary Party on 5/17. Attacking your ability to make good choices, this bully quickly becomes your best friend.

Navaja is a Double IPA that changes each time we brew it, unless we don’t change it. This go-round is a little more aggressive. Heavy on Citra, Mosaic, and Columbus hops and Golden Promise malt; Navaja is a shredder rotating on all cylinders.

Wham. Crisp and hoppy and finishes with the skunky hop flavor I like. Professional crafting! On tap at piece in Chicago. IPA guarantee. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottles shared at a tasting. Hazy orange large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of lemon, life savers mints, pale malt, eucalyptus. A little medicinal, definitely weird. The taste is tropical, citrus hops, doughy malt, zesty finish.

Bomber, no date but just released this week. Citrius, pine. Very hoppy, medium bitterness. Very drinkable, seems lighter than a double. Good stuff, right now half acre is making, top to bottom, the best line of IPAs in Chicagoland.

Cloudy yellow-orange liquid, spongy head that dissipates quickly. Smell is tart apple, tropical fruit, Jolly Rancher, grapefruit and tangerine. First taste has lots of pine flavor with smoky, charred and malty tones; lots of straw and lemongrass flavor. Hop fruits and bitterness come through quickly and bring every back to standard DIPA territory. Long crisp finish with tart notes.

Smells amazing, pine resin and citrus all there. Very carbonated. Good wet head. Looks a little plain, straw. Taste is great, basically no alcohol flavor but plenty of pine flavor with grapefruit and orange. I love this beer. Cannot recommend this enough.

On tap at 2014 GTMW, pours a hazy orange with a thin white head and some spotty lacing, the aroma has a good amount of hop resin and citrus, the flavor has a little bit of sweetness of caramel and malt at first that make the mouthfeel a little thicker than I enjoy, still has a nice amount of hops and fruit in the finish too though, interesting.

Keg at Mikkeller, Stockholm. Cloudy deep golden, creamy head. Citrus, gooseberry and wet cardboard up front. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Honey and syrup, grapefruit peels, caramel and salt. Long bitter finish. Solid, but basic.
