Can from Mikkeller webshop. Pours clear straw with a small white head. Nose is very biscuit forward with light honey and straw. Slightly grassy in the taste with plenty of honey and biscuit. Drinks in true style of a Pils. Good stuff

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Mikkeller and Friends, Copenhagen
Cloudy blond color with large compact head. There is a mild but nice aroma of quality hops, grassy in the front and more citrusy later. Dry mouthfeel, smooth, with some hay and strong bitterness, some vegetables character, although it ends with light coriander and fruits.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap, poured into a 5oz English tulip. The aromas are fairly faint, nothing really jumps out, but I could find a light floral note, a light grainy note, and a touch of a white grape-like sweetness and a seltzer-like dryness on the nose. It pours a slightly hazy pale straw color (almost on the whiter side of things). A tight, micro-bubble white head recedes quickly to just a moderate-thin ring around the glass that leaves a light ring lacing. The taste is a light / medium-light bitter, with a light touch of sweetness. And active and prickly carbonation combines with the medium light body and thin texture for a very easy drinker. The finish is dry with some pine and citrus. The aftertaste is mostly clean with a mellow, light citrus.

Cool crisp refreshing. Could be better but it could also be worse. I'd like to try the Gin Barrel Aged version.

Single finger head on top of a clear golden pour. Grain aroma with some Saaz. Medium mouth. Nice lacing for a pilsener. Lots of bread and a slightly spicy finish.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Note: I had a cold while rating this so perception of aroma may be skewed or less sensitive than usual.)
Pours slightly hazy yellow gold with frothy white head that disappears quickly. Lots of pretty lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy grain. Taste is surprisingly bitter. I usually expect a bit more sweetness in a Pilsner. More bitterness straight through the finish. Can’t really taste the hops; probably due to cold. Body is medium with lively carbonation. Overall ok, but really too bitter for a Pilsner.

Out of 16oz can. Sweet malt aroma with some hay and grasses. Pale yellow with a huge white head with some staying power. Rich sweet malty taste. Full flavor that finishes with nice saaz bitterness. Decent pilsner.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour out of 16 oz can, slightly hazy golden pour with white lasting head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, grass, nice pils malt with cracker, nice spice notes in there, hints of earth, slight lemon, lemon peel in there as well. Taste is a mix of spice, lemon peel, earth, some slight grassy notes into a bit of earth, biscuit, cracker, finishing dry, slightly bitter. Nice.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I don’t know if I’d call this a pilsener but it is a nice American lager one way or the other. It pours a cloudy gold color w/ a scant white head that leaves behind little spots of lacing on the glass. The nose on this is fairly mild but the floral hops really pop once you taste it. This is light on the palate w/ gentle carbonation. It’s mild sweetness is contrasted by strong grassy and mineral bitterness in the finish. As it warms, the hops take on a more citrus character and the bitterness smooths out a bit. This kind of reminds me of a more flavorful version of Goose Island 312 wheat beer--a mild, hoppy brew w. a touch of sweetness. It works.
