Golden pour with decent off white head. Has a grain, straw, and grassy aroma. Flavors of yeast, grain, lemon, and earthy notes. Light/ medium body that was slick on the palate. Not bad, but average.

16oz can. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is of yeast, grain, and grass. Taste is very grassy, with malt and grain. Lingering sweet, grassy taste. Mouthfeel is light, and heavily carbonated. Body is light, and it drinks very easy. Itís nothing spectacular, but it tastes good and it drinks easy. If you were at a dive, and this was an option, Iíd pick it.

16oz can. Well itís a Pilsner. Tastes and smells like old style. Sawdust, Pilsner malt, Pilsner yeast. I donít think there is anyway to make this good.

On tap: The aroma consists of sweet honey, grains, and grassy notes. Itís a transparent dull yellow with a small white head that quickly fades to a minimal film outlined by a soapy ring. The flavor starts a quick dose of sweet pilsner malt and honey. The finish has light-moderate grass with some light grain. Itís light-medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation. Overall, a really tasty and refreshing Pilsner.

Can. Gold pour, big white head. Good retention/some lace. Aroma of grassy hop, hay, bread, lager yeast. Taste is lightly bitter, grassy, sweet. Palate is soft, slick, light bitter finish. Not quite as snappy as some pils, but still good.

Draft at Kaiser Tiger. Pours a bright, somewhat hazy yellow-gold with a lot of bubbles and a white head. Nice pils and bready and crackery malts, straw, grass, earth, a bit of lemon, and faint spice. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp, dry, malty mouthfeel. Nice, refreshing pils.

Tap @ Half Acre: Translucent, golden-yellow, cloudy body with a stark white, long-lasting hunk of foam that perches on top. Aroma of under-baked bread, lightly sweet pilsener malts, dry starch & grains, a little bit of chunky yeast & a semi-sweetness that almost resembles honey. Taste is even more amped up on the bready notes & sweet pale malts. A blanket of pale/pilsener malt coats the palate follows by a zesty, slightly metallic & sharp yeast invasion. Lightest touch of citric zest leading to a dry, clean finish. A decent pils from Half Acre.

Wow, E. would love this! Pours hazy unclear lemon juice in color with a nice lacey white head. Aroma really opened up with some time, bringing sweet malts so pleasant in the nose. Flavor brings grapey lightly sweet malts so smooth on the palate, not too crispy but just right on the body.
