Draft sample at Half Acre. Pours a mostly clear orangey gold with a sticky white head. Nose is immediate guava and dank American hops. Straight west coast style nose with the fruit for good measure. On taste, the bitterness is good and strong with the tart guava coming through late. It is quite well balanced with the strong hops popping over the top of the guava until the finish. Clean and fruity guava finish. Very incredibly well made beer. Awesome.

growler card punch #7. aroma is a intense guava standing in front of fresh, american hop resin that pushes lemon and lime. appearance is well polished gold with very active carb. initial foamy head drifts away quick leaving little in its wake. flavor is less tropical fruit then 1000 lbs would have you think, good malt base displays a hint of breadiness then tartaric acid like bitterness clobbers you. metallic nearly, IBUs must be in excess of 100. that note is not altogether pleasant either but i have 50 oz or so to go and i’m sure ill loosen up. UPDATE: big carb, light metallic bitterness and fruit soda pop backnote give this more then a few champagne notes. interesting.

Clear light amber, small white head. Aroma is tropical fruit and resin. Quite dry and fruity (guava), finishes sour and bittter. Could use more malts to balance the sourness of the guava.
