64 oz. growler from the brewery. Pours a nice, bright gold with a pale white head. Aroma of delicious amarillo hops. Lemon, orange, gumballs, Some pine and floral notes. Light cracker and bready malt aromas. Flavor is bright, clean, dry, with lots of flavorful citrus bitterness. Mild earthy fruits. Some biscuit and cracker malts as well. Medium bodied, nice texture, lively carbonation. Finishes bitter and nice. Loved this.

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2013 Draft, pours slightly hazy bright gold with white head. Aroma has a pleasant grapefruit rind, floral, slight pine. Flavors have a firm bitterness, grapefruit rind/citrus fruit is very vibrant on the palate, malt base has a slight toast and cracker bent to it but isn’t as toasty as daisy. Seem earthy fruit notes finish. The bitterness is a touch high to make this truly sessionable and the whole experience is a little one dimensional but as it is, it’s a solid extra pale.

Solid brew here, easily crushed and a very nice hopiness to it with big grapefruit and some yeast.

Draft pour on tao at the Half Acre Tap Room (Chicago, IL). Pours a nice crisp golden hue, bit of a darker middle and body. Mellow haziness, gentle summer sunshine glow on the edges and bottom. Loose bubbly white head atop dies to a mellow film, sticks around small, laces lightly. Aromas show gentle fruit, bubblegum, and tropical fruit. Decent citrus rind, florals, and a dry earthy hopping. Bit of bready malt, straw. Initial is lighter end of the fold in body, firm complex fruity hopping throws grapefruit, guava, tropical fruit, and lemon. Medium bitterness, gentle carbonation. Some bready malts, straw. Middle is a bit more mellow, setting up for a bigger firm bitter backend. Prickly green leaft floral hops, some grapefruit, tropical fruit. Firm, dry, resiny. Finish is citrusy and dry, rind oils finish well. A touch bready and cereal at times, some soapy floral mix in and leave a firm dry, bitter finish. Nice complexity of hopping, light crushable body. Nice. Pleasant nose.

Draft at HA. Pours a pale gold with a sticky white head. Nose is hop forward with apricot, low faint fossil fuels, citrus and toast. On tasting, moderate bitterness with a nice plain malt profile. Well balanced, though the hops get a bit heavy as you drink. Clean and refreshing, just wish it was warmer outside...

Not my fave thing from the local brewery, I tend to not like the one-hop focused brews. Looks beautiful in a 20oz+ tall pint glass, hazy orange. Smells vegetal, slightly citrus, not exactly inviting. Taste was off for me, weirdly vegetal and not hoppy like I think of hoppy. Very nice fizzy carbonation makes it more refreshing. Full disclosure, I had this after a 13oz pour of Najava in a firkin with an extra half pound of hops, which was awesome. I’m hoping I am good enough to tease out the flavors of a second beer after one strong, hoppy beer. But maybe I am an idiot.

5oz pour at the source... Pours a orange tangerine hue, mostly transparent, and topped with a thin film of soapy white head... Juicy citrus and tangerine and florals... Light citrus and floral notes, medium toasty grain. Lighter bodied with prickly carbonation. Easy going and refreshing. Earth lightly bitter backend.

Draught at taproom. Really nice hop aroma hits you at first. Very floral. Orange body. Super nice.
