Tap. Pours mostly clear gold, white head. Some retention/good lace. Aroma is grassy/tropical/citrus hop, dough, earth. Taste is bitter, tropical/grassy, light malt sweetness. Palate is lightly oily, creamy, bitter finish. Really nice.

Pours orange with a thin white head. Flavor is hoppy, with that signature half acre flavor. Nice malt backbone. Had a draft pours at half acre. One of their best pales. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap, poured into an 8oz tulip. The aroma is a very potent, fresh grapefruit with a light toffee undertone. The beer is a murky, dull orange-yellow hue with a soapy white head that laces well and retains a moderately light ring. The taste is a medium bitter with a supporting, medium sweetness. The beer is oily with a fizzy carbonation and a medium fruity body. The beer is bitter up front with fresh grapefruit and caramel, as well as bread crust. It finishes zestier, with a brighter grapefruit and a grass character. The aftertaste is dry and lightly astringent with remnants of grapefruit, bread crust, and a bit of toffee.

22 oz. bottle via trade. Pours a slightly hazy orange golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is grassy, juicy citrus with oranges and clementines, and doughy bread. The flavor has more juicy citrus with the focus being oranges and clementines, grassy, and biscuity malts. Easy to drink and would serve as a tasty alternative on a summer day.

Thanks to Matt for this. Pours a cloudy dark yellow with a thin white top and good lacing. Aroma is thick grapefruit hops and grains. Taste is a blast of grapefruit and citrus hops.

Pours a slightly cloudy yellow color with a big, soapy white head. Plenty of citrus and floral hop notes with only a subtle bread/malt aroma. Pretty simple aroma, but quite nice. The flavor has lots of citrus flavor and a bit of floral character with a soft but sufficient bitterness. A light malt sweetness in the background. Light bodied with medium carbonation.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a hazy orange color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Tasted on 12/4/11 from a 22oz bomber bottle purchased at Half Acre. Pours a hazy but bright colored orange with an average white head that slowly recedes to uneven lace. The nose is fresh grapefruit, orange peel, and light cereal malt, with just a hint of earthy yeast. The flavor is full of fresh grapefruit and orange peel with a touch of tropical fruit, light cereal malt, and nice bitterness. The body is light with lively carbonation and a long bitter grapefruit and orange peel finish.

This poured a dark yellow to orange color with an off white head. Aroma was lots and lots of citrus and piney notes, not really much else. Flavor was just straight fruity hops, hardly any maltyness at all, but not very bitter either. A perfect example of hop flavor vs. hop bitterness.

Bottle. Yellow pour with a white head. Dank grapefruit and citrusy hop aromas. Not very well balanced with all kinds of bland hop notes.
