Nice aroma. Taste was floral and hoppy but a bit mild. I was hoping for a lot more from the collaboration of two of my favorite breweries.

22 oz. bottle shared by beerpig317. Pours a hazy golden color with a small, lasting white head. The aroma has big fruity, tropical west coast hops, florals, herbal notes with some moderately sweet malts. The flavor has a toasted malt base, but is more about the hops; fruity, herbals and mild spicy notes to the finish. Some grassy notes with moderate bitterness. This is somewhere between the typical IPA and a DIPA. Tasty.

Enjoyed in a tulip. Fridge temperature.

A - Nice clarity. Orange gold appearance. No head was formed but a thin line of bubbles that faded instantly.

S - Nice nose. Not a load of bitterness on the nose, delicate orange peel and flowers. Some honey.

T - That was surprising. Very bitter, dry and musky finish, orange peel and cloves, some tangerine notes. Very bitter from start to finish. I’m surprised.

M - Medium carbonation, medium body. delicate through and through. Very soft and dry finish.

O - I am very surprised. Was not expecting this sort of beer but bravo to both breweries on the collaboration.

Very hazy gold beer, little white head. Slightly dry palate. Sweet and bitter hops. Pine, a little pineapple. Citrus with grapefruit most noticeable. Mild creamy malt base. Dry finish with more pine and pineapple. Lovely drinkable IPA. Sank the whole 750 in no time at all!

Bomber. Pours straw colored with minimal head and tons (too much) of carbonation. Flavor is some floral hops but nothing special.

Bottle shared by Beerpig317. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus and earthy hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.

Bomber. Thanks Chris for sending this one to me. Shared with Thomas. Smell of citrus peel and malt. Very nice flavor, citrus, hoppy, pine, menthol with a generous amount of malt.

22 oz. bomber served in a Founders snifter. A: Pours a hazy amber color with one finger height of white foam forming on the pour. It recedes to a thin ring that leaves some splotchy lace behind. S: Herbal dankness, mild citrus and dried grass. Light earthy onion with some cracker malt. T: Slight dankness with some mild, dirty onion. Semi-bitter grapefruit rind. Nice herbal qualities with a hint of dried mint. There is a nice and sweet biscuit malt body that carries into the finish. M: Medium to light bodied with a nice carbonation level. The finish is sweet. O: Definitely ranging on the herbal side of IPA’s. I appreciated the drinkability of this guy and wish it saw more production. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 09-03-2012

Bomber to taster (thanks Bunker). Looks good; a hazy light orange with thin white lacing. Smells solid; bitter, spicy hops. Tastes the same with a good mouthfeel. Nice.
