Vallejo, an India Pale Ale we brewed with coastal spirit. This 6.7% hop crasher sharply dives into the very deep waters of bitter beers.

Draft pour in their taproom. Bright orange and cloudy. Sticky head. Aroma is intense - grapefruit I think. Bitter taste, smooth, mild hops, fruity. Delicious IPA. Liked this better than the double daisy cutter and a tie with Space ale

Thick head, color is pale straw-gold. Smell is delicious tropical fruit, cut grass, fresh. Taste is slightly sweet, fruit with lots of savory herbal character. Light body, long slightly tangy finish.

A tasty offering. Nose is wonderful. Taste is grassy, lime, floral, woody. Bitter and dry on the finish. Definitely a Half Acre product.

Pint at half acre. Lots of fresh hops. Citrus, lemon stands out more than most IPAs. Has a bit of kolsch to it. Dry grassy finish.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and shaker served showing a lightly hazed, golden color, with a frothy layer of soft white head foam, and clingy patches of lacing. The nose began lightly dank, then offered nice, fruity expression as citrusy orange & grapefruit, subtly malt sweetened. Medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste also included some alcohol involvement, a citrusy, rind-like, and resinous bitterness that lingered to finish with some dryness, and as the aroma, a bit of malt sweetness. Nicely balanced & flavorful IPA.

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2015 I had this tasty little brew at Owen & Engine in Chi-Town. Great nose on this mofo, very citrusy with floral notes. The taste is a combination of bitter meets a refreshing light beer. I Like It.

On tap in a shaker. Pours golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of citrusy and piney and floral hops, some pale and light caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same with a nice hoppiness. Average texture. A solid IPA.

Tap. Pours clear gold, nice white head. Little retention/good lace. Aroma of tropical, citrus hop, cracker malts. Taste is lightly bitter, grassy, tropical. Palate is drier, crisp, refreshing. Another beauty from HA.

Growler from the brewery. Pours a hazy, light Amber color with a white head and some lacing. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, orange, some pineapple. Medium on the palate with soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet, bread, pineapple, maybe a little garlic, some pine, with a bitter pine finish that lingers for a while. Tasty.

From a growler obtained at the brewery. Yellow with hints of orange, a thinner look than usual for half acre. Decent white head, good lacing. Smells very hoppy with a white grape (don’t know here, perhaps acidic light fruit like orange?) As well as the piney forest smell I’ve grown to love. The nose is interesting. Taste is good/great. The front has a nice amount of hop with citrus, the back is dry and finishes immediately. Great offering.
