Vallejo, an India Pale Ale we brewed with coastal spirit. This 6.7% hop crasher sharply dives into the very deep waters of bitter beers.

Nice aroma of fresh citrus. Notes of lemon....slightly catty in a good way. Nice light yellow color, with a frothy white head. Rich sweet malt up front. Citrus tones, quickly absorbed by hoppy bitterness. Piney bitterness mellows sweetness nicely. Balanced finish. Nice IPA.

16oz can. Pours golden yellow with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is of hops, tropical fruit, caramel, and pine. Taste starts off with a bitter hop burn. After a few sips, there is a juicy hop character with lots of tropical fruit. Has a bready malt backbone, with a fair amount of caramel. Lingering tropical fruit taste. Mouthfeel is very carbonated, and slightly soapy. Body is very carbonated and light. Drinks very easy, and it tastes really good. Damn good beer.

Half Acre is rarely disappointing. This is another solid IPA. Not my favorite, but a solid IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good citrus flavor. Easy drinking, almost like a session IPA. Alot of carbonation, gives it a foamy mouth feel. Almost like drinking an IPA-flavored soda. Pretty good.

16oz can from Jimís in Mundelein. Typical Half Acre. Sweet fruit, hops, normal solid "Half Acre" yeast to pitch in on the flavor Very solid. Could have daily or more. Excited they are canning this - may lead to even others. 15.1

Pours mostly clear golden orange sunset with a creamy white head. Aroma brings a light subtle orange like hop note. flavor starts out with a dry orange unique rind like note and the. The beer has a nice juicy and dry balance that follows through decently to the end.

I am not sure why Half Acre needs both this and Senita in its lineup but, whatever, they are both good. This is a lightly hazed brew with a foamy white head. I really like the hop character on this one, soft and fruity. I am getting peach, pineapple and a bit of sweet orange plus earthy pine. Itís got a full-bodied texture w/o being sweet and crisp, pleasant bitterness in the finish. We are getting to have an embarrassment of riches as far as local IPAs here in Chicago but I donít mind another one piled on when itís as good as this.
