Vallejo, an India Pale Ale we brewed with coastal spirit. This 6.7% hop crasher sharply dives into the very deep waters of bitter beers.

Thanks for the Growler guys! Aroma is killer! Maybe the best or 2nd best nose I’ve had on a HA. Simcoe and Nelson play so nice together! Flavor is bright, mostly piney simcoe, with a touch of grapey nelson, somewhat hollow finish, ultra dry, moderately bitter, crazy good as is, but would be even better at 5% ABV in the summer heat! Excellent work here.

16 oz. can via trade. Pours a somewhat cloudy gold with a small white head that settles unevenly, finally into a ring and thin island of film. Only one ring of lace remains in the glass. Fresh lemon and orange and lighter grapefruit citrus, zesty florals, pale malts, spritzy mineral water, herbs and grass, and only a bit of pine. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp, refreshing, clean, and mildly bitter mouthfeel. Such a nice everyday IPA.

Can. Pours clear golden, medium off-white head, dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is pretty piney with some dank and tropical notes. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Pretty center of the lane IPA here.

Pale golden pour with a thin head. Aroma is juicy, full of passion fruit. Medium bodied with a dry finish. Citrus pith comes to mind, as well as a yeasty, bubblegum like flavor. Very tasty.

On draft at Golden Crust, Red Lion, PA served in an English pint glass. Pours light golden, one finger head. Nice retention, scant lacing. Aroma of lemon and mango. Taste is bitter with a slight sour bite. Medium body, moderate carbonation, prickly mouth feel. Finishes long and bitter. Tasting notes of lemon rind, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, spruce, grass and resin. This beer is really bitter! Awesome IPA!

Can, 1 pint. Clear pale golden with a frothy offwhite head. Pungent fruity hoppy aromas. Medium to light bodied, moderate to fizzy carbonation. Smooth and astringent. Medium sweet, medium to heavy bitter. Stinging bitter hoppy character into a well balanced fruity finish. Light and fresh, but enormously hoppy and bitter.

Drinking these beers in Japan is weird. Anyways, it’s a very good west coast citrus IPA that was incredibly easy to drink. I’d rush to drink it again at American prices.

Pours a slightly cloudy gold color with nice lacing, but minimal head retention. Smells hoppy and malty. Tastes hoppy and nice. A good refreshing beer! Solid choice and one that I would come back to!
