Thanks for the Growler guys! Aroma is killer! Maybe the best or 2nd best nose I’ve had on a HA. Simcoe and Nelson play so nice together! Flavor is bright, mostly piney simcoe, with a touch of grapey nelson, somewhat hollow finish, ultra dry, moderately bitter, crazy good as is, but would be even better at 5% ABV in the summer heat! Excellent work here.

Can from Red Star. Cloudy light orange with medium white head that’s gone quickly. Hops, caramel, melon and pine smells. Spiced bitter flavors of hop, light fruit and sugar. Well done.

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy golden color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of zesty citrus, herbal hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Tap at Publican in ORD. Deep hazy gold with a thick, low head. Nice tropical fruit and citrus hop nose with a bit of biscuity malt in the background. Crisp grapefruit flavor, passion fruits, and a great, bitter, peppery finish. Great IPA.

I am a fan of all the Half Acres I’ve tried to this point. The Vallejo IPA is certainly no exception.
A nice orangey-amber color. A fluffly white head. A nice citrus, fruity aroma. The taste is hoppy, citric, floral, island-y (I was pleased to see a pineapple variation because there is an almost pineapple flavor in there as well -or maybe it was the power of insinuated suggestion). Very, very good.

I had this at global brew festival. Pours gold with a white head. Taste citrus, pine, mildly sweet. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

16 oz. can via trade. Pours a somewhat cloudy gold with a small white head that settles unevenly, finally into a ring and thin island of film. Only one ring of lace remains in the glass. Fresh lemon and orange and lighter grapefruit citrus, zesty florals, pale malts, spritzy mineral water, herbs and grass, and only a bit of pine. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp, refreshing, clean, and mildly bitter mouthfeel. Such a nice everyday IPA.
