Tap. I am not usually a fan of amber ales, other than the hoppy red IPA type, but this one ain’t too bad! Pours clear red amber with a small beige head and some lacing. Aroma is caramel and toffee dominated, just a touch of hoppy nose in there as well. Flavor is the same with a touch of pine. Lightly sweet, minimal bitterness. Medium body.

Pours a deep, dark amber...almost coppery red. Smells of coffee, very malty. Has a nutty, burnt taste to it. Fairly decent amber ale...just not my favorite style.

Relatively clear brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma is toffee, hazelnut, chestnut, damp grain. Relatively light bodied with a slight creaminess, bitter on the palate with a slight toffee background, lingering bitterness in the finish with a slightly mineral aftertaste. Taste is toffee, burnt sugar, chestnuts, hazelnut, grapefruit peel, hint of pine.

This beer has a beautiful amber color with subtle brown hues. It has a light head which sticks to the glass well. It is on the more mild side of ambers with a slightly nutty flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A very nice amber. Pours a more orange color, with little head. Smells great, herby and citrus. Taste is a little citrus, vanilla, an slightly hoppy. Finish is smooth. Had at seton. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Pours a clear amber color with a short off-white head and lacing. The aroma is an equal mix of grassy hops and amber malt, and the flavor is mild hops up front, with a spicy mouthfeel with a balanced malt and hop aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A - Pours a fairly clear red color with a touch of brown mixed in and a finger of frothy tan-brown head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some lace spots in the process. S - Sweet rich lightly toasted caramel malts with a bit of citrus hops alongside. There is a touch of bread as well in the background. T - Starts off with rich sweet lightly toasted caramel malts that have a touch of a syrupy element to them. There is a bit of orange and grapefruit hops alongside with just a hint of bitterness. Through the middle, the syrupy flavor starts to mellow out a bit and a bit more orange from the hops comes through. The finish is a mix of sweet caramel malts and a bit of citrus hop and bitterness. M - A bit less than medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with a sweet finish. D - Very drinkable. Could have used either a touch more body or a bit less syrupy feeling upfront. Could have used a touch more hop as well.
