COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This dry porter is brewed with a special blend of roasted barley malts and raw cocoa beans, to create subtle, but complex hints of dark chocolate, especially in the aroma.

Light lacing and light retention. Smells of dark chocolate, sweet malt and molasses. Tastes like chocolate and molasses. Great chocolate aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can - Dark brown in colour. Roasted malt, chocolate and some smoky hints in the aroma. Roasted taste with chocolate standing out yet not being too overwhelming. A decent amount of flavour and character for the abv.

Can - Got given a balloon glass for this. Pours black with a huge brown bubbly head that stubbornly stays around for a long time. Good lacing. Aroma of coffee, cocoa and a wisp of vanilla. Light notes of roasted malt come out as the drink warmed up a little. Taste of coffee followed by a tiny bit of vanilla and bitterness then some cocoa to finish. Thin body, high carbonation. This is just thin and bland and not especially chocolatey or vanilla-y as the can would suggest.

Chocolate and vanilla from a can. Awesome chocolate nose. Smooth drinking with a slightly dry mouthfeel. Great drink ability with minimal bitterness, but not sickly sweet. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. A can that burst all by itself - never seen that before - gushy barstard! Almost opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is light and a little dry. Mild fine carbonation (some time after it bust it’s britches. Dry dark malt, touch of roast bitterness. Little dry dark chocolate and vanilla. Light dry finish, bitter linger. Thin but passable.

Draft at Toronado during my SF trip last summer from notes. Pours dark brown in color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma and flavor have a nice roasted malt, chocolate lightly earthy character. Fairly smooth and drinkable.

Big white head that disappears quickly. Smells of light bittersweet chocolate. Very thin but it’s 3.75 abv so what do you expect. Vanilla is just not present.

On tap at Toronado. Pour is dark brown with a small khaki head. Aroma and flavor are both of toasted malt, grain, chocolate, and dark caramel. Finish is mostly roast with a touch of sweetness.

On tap at Toronado. (my first one from this brewery) Black with a small tan head. Aroma and tatse of light roasted malt, spices, chocolate, vanilla and some light coffee in the finish. Soft and easy to drink.
