Draught at the Half Moon Bay brewpub. Lastin brown head. A dark red-brown color. The aroma is a rich chocolate and dark malts. Really smooth taste with chocolate and then a litle bit of alcohole appears. Big bitterness and some sweetness.

4 ounce sample at the brewpub. I was impressed with this stout even in the small sample I had. Nice roasted aroma with a dark brown pour and brown head. The flavor was roasty and dry with nice chocolate and coffee bitterness toward the end. A classic and flavorful stout if not very exciting.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavor. Has a dry roasted malty chocolate finish with some hints of coffee in the aftertaste.

Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Chocolate and roast aroma. Coffee, roast and light chocolate flavor. Medium-plus bodied. Coffee and roast lingers.

A nice stout from HMB. Pours dark brown like motor oil with a thin lacy brown head. Flavor is chocolaty with a hint of berries. A very nice stout and worth a try.

One of the best on tap at the brewery! Very dark with a deep tan head that laces the glass nicely. A fine dry stout, but for some reason will not sell in the 22oz bottle?? If you like a dry stout, a must try while there.

(picked up a growler at the brewery on my birthday)black body with a foamy light brown head.nice aroma of smoke,roasted malts,and chocolate.flavor mixes the aroma along with some coffee thrown in as well.for a 5.2% dry stout its pretty tasty.

Tap @ Brewery. Dark brown color with a brown head (looks like Guinness). Smooth, dry, light, some roasted malt in the aroma. A little chocolate and coffee in the flavor but not very assertive.
