omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Dec 17, 2007 Updated: Jan 23, 2008Draught at Toronado, San Francisco. Clear nut brown, minimal head. Fruity with some bubblegum and nutty roasty malt. Medium bodied with notes of ginger and raspberries. Low bitterness. A discretely spicy beer with some hefeweizen characteristics. ABUSEDGOAT (1904), California, USA Dec 1, 2007 Bottle: Darker reddish brown, moderate head, good lacing and retention. Aroma is spiced, like nutmeg or cinnamon. Caramel and wood come into play as well. Rich aroma, medium bodied with a somewhat overly sweet finish. Still pretty enjoyable. DenverLogan (420), Oceanside, California, USA Nov 9, 2007 Straw, scone & spice aroma; amber w/ small head. Rich malts, herbs, slight scotch, carob, peat, nutmeg. Dry, bitter hop finish. On tap at brewery. jazz88 (2205), San Francisco, California, USA Dec 10, 2006 Tap @ Toronado. A medium brown color with a laced tan head. Toasted malt (strong) and mildly sweet flavors with a hint of fruit in the aftertaste. Ligher than expected but a nice flavor. bb (2088), Martinez, California, USA Dec 4, 2006 Draft. brownish beer with a low off-white head. Strange aroma of playdough and some spice, but it also has a bit of not-quite-vinegar (not a horrible vinegar that denotes an off-bear though). Low malty flavor with some spice and backing playdough. Just not that good.
