Draft sample at brewpub. Poured a clear copper color with a moderate frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a dry texture. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. A better beer.

Dec 17, 2007 Tap: Deep golden almost amber hue with a frothy and lasting head, very nice lacing. The aroma has notes of grapefruit and peppery esters, piney and herbal hops, biscuity malts, touch of DMS. The taste is bitter and acidic at first but was quickly overcome by a veggie corn notes and some bready malt. Falls short on taste for the style, needs to be cleaner tasting. The mouth feel is sprite and medium-bodied. Needs work but not awful.

Aug 4, 2007 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent uncarbonated orange brown colored body and a good lacing. The weak aroma was malty. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of hops. An OK brew just nothing special. Needs more hops, but an OK mild ipa.

Jul 7, 2007 Draft at the brewery and rated on 5/5/07. Small off-whtie head that was mostly lasting, fair amount of lacing, transparent, orange hue, and no visible carbonation. Malty, hoppy, citrus, pineapple and some pine for the nose. Ditto for the flavor with a somewhat dry finish. Tingly and dry mouthfeel. Light-medium body. This isn’t my favorite beer style, but their beers that were available the date that I rated their beers, this is IMO their best. Worthy of a try!
