COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For the hopheads! This is an amber colored American-Style India Pale Ale. It starts with a citrus-like aroma from generous helpings of Cascade hops. A very dry but fruity and flavorful beer that has quite a kick! ABV=7.1% O.G.=1062 IBU=52

Tap at brewery. Caramel malt, piney grapefruit peel hops aroma. Clear amber with a small beige head. Caramel malt, piney grapefruit hops flavor. Medium sticky body. Very malt forward, which is my personal preference in an IPA.

Draught at the pub. A hazy orange amber with a thin creamy off-white head that laces the glace in thick swathes. Not particularly bitter. Floral citrusy hops with a balanced body. Hints of crystal malt extract flavor. Mild carbonation. Decent.

Sampled at 2012 Indianapolis Brew Ha Ha. Light, refreshing. Citrus and lemon. Alcohol is masked well with a nice hop profile.

Rock solid IPA. Plenty of citrus and pine to make anybody happy. Very typical of any IPA you can find in any brewpub.

brewpub sampler - Pours copper with a very long lasting head. There’s a good, grapefruit hops aroma. The taste has some good upfront sweetness before the citrus hops bitterness hits. I really enjoyed the balanced character. Then there’s the customary lingering hops bitterness of this style. Well done.

Out of the sampler at the brewpub. Murky orange color with a thin off white head. Grapefruit rind nose. Fruity IPA with grapefruit and apple sauce with enough of a bready backbone to hold it up. Decent IPA.

Draft sample. Hazy amber body with a small offwhite head. Fruity pear and apple aroma follows into the taste. Citrus and pine add a pleasant bitterness. Caramel backbone and grainy malt texture. Nicely drinkable.

Draft sample at brewpub. Poured a clear copper color with a moderate frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a dry texture. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. A better beer.

Draft at the brewery I just loved this beer! I think it is an excellent example of just what an IPA should be.

Tap: Deep golden almost amber hue with a frothy and lasting head, very nice lacing. The aroma has notes of grapefruit and peppery esters, piney and herbal hops, biscuity malts, touch of DMS. The taste is bitter and acidic at first but was quickly overcome by a veggie corn notes and some bready malt. Falls short on taste for the style, needs to be cleaner tasting. The mouth feel is sprite and medium-bodied. Needs work but not awful.
