COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A south German style of wheat beer (weissbier) made with yeast that produces unique phenolic flavors of banana and cloves and even a little bit of bubblegum. It has little hop bitterness, and a moderate level of alcohol. This beer is scrumptiously smooth and refreshing. Spring is here and brings us sunshine and our brewer, John Templet, brings us a most Heavenly Hefewiezen to sip and savor.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a very small sized head of frothy clear colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a weak clear colored body. The aroma was mild malt. The semi-dry mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of weak Hefeweizen. The bready yeast and banana notes were missing. Not one that I would likely drink again.

Draft sample at brewpub. Poured a hazy yellow color with a moderate fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy spicy citrus & banana aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium spicy sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.
