Draft to taster at Half Moon. Looks solid; a transparent lighter gold with white lacing. Smells wheaty with a touch of sweetness from the honey. Tastes like it smells, but with a bit more honey. Solid on the palate. An easy drinker.

Draft. Milky wheat malt aroma. Hazy pale yellow with moderate head. Creamy sweet wheat malt flavor. Very nice.

On tap at the brewpub
Yet another wheat beer from Half Moon is another pedestrian affair. At least they are different enough to tell one from the other; otherwise they would just be an interchangeable set of ticks like most brown ales in an English pub.

Aroma / Appearance - The transparent base has a rosy feel. Fluid and light it swirls around the glass. Honey nut cheerios are the main aspects of a pretty generic wheat ale. It isnít offensive yet neither does it pop.

Flavor / Palate - Almonds, honey, and buttered wheat toast cooling at the end of breakfast arenít exciting. However they do an effective job of maintaining interest in a sessionable draft. It works for one pint. After that I think I would get tired even though this might be an effective daily drinker.

tap at the brewpub on 5/14/13 - Pours very pale yellow and cloudy with a white, lacing head. It smells of citrus and mild honey. The flavor is sweet and lemony, the body light, and the finish is also sweet. Itís not exactly my thing, but itís alright.

This draft brew from a beer festival poured a very small sized head of frothy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent yellow colored body. The mild aroma was dough. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of dough and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Tap at brewery. Faint honey and wheat malt aroma. Golden yellow with a small white head, moderate creamy lacing. Creamy wheat and sweet floral honey flavor with a very mild bitterness in the finish. Medium body, creamy mouth feel.

Sampled at 2012 Indianapolis Brew Ha Ha. Light, sweet, refreshing. Some citrus and lemon notes paired with pale malts. A good summer beer.

first of all, interesting name. aroma is wheat, honey, hoppy. Cloudy yellow appearance. Taste is wheat with sweet aftertaste. good wheat brew. A step up from wild cat wheat in terms of density and hops.. I would take the wildcat wheat over this one though..

Growler brought back for me by a coworker. Slightly sweet aroma, with a touch of honey and a bit of citrus. Pours a hazy straw, with a thin head (this may be due to it being from a growler). Interesting taste, with roasted notes, honey, and a good wheat finish. Very drinkable beer and I can see this one being really popular in the summer time.

Draft sample at IBGF Summer09. Poured cloudy yellow color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Light to moderate sweet honey and creamy wheat aroma. Light to medium wheat and honey flavor and light to medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. Light to medium body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. This is a refreshing soft brew.
