3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 sbanach (214) - USA - NOV 27, 2011
appearance is cloudy wheat, aroma is light lemon, hops, wheat. light hops/lemon taste, very drinkable. Very good light drink offering. like an upland wheat with less hops. Could drink a growler of this to myself on a summer evening, but it’s always good to share great beer :)
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 patrick767 (3169) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 27, 2008
brewpub sampler - Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head and a very mild wheat aroma. The flavor is sweet and has some citrus. It’s sweet with a thin, watery palate. The finish is clean and the overall impression is of a decidedly lacking wheat ale.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jsquire (3000) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - AUG 31, 2008
From the sampler at the brewpub. Hazy straw color with a light cereal nose. Not much in the flavor. Some puffed wheat with a thin grainy finish. This is a pretty pointless beer.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Tmoney99 (8844) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 7, 2008
Draft sample at brewpub. Poured a hazy yellow color with a moderate fizzy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Medium citrus wheat aroma. Light to medium body. Light to medium sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. Another drinkable soft beer that met my expectations.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 thedm (4783) - Fort Wayne, USA - AUG 4, 2007
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of bubbles that were and left behind a slightly hazy softly carbonated straw yellow colored body and a fair lacing. The almost non-existant aroma was wheat. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of malt and wheat. Not one that I would likely buy again.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 hotstuff (3350) - Indiana, USA - JUL 1, 2007
Draft at the brewery and rated on 5/5/07. Small white head that mostly diminished with virtually no lacing, minimal carbonation, cloudy, and a pale yellow hue. Nose was sweet and a hint of banana. Ditto for the flavor. Smooth mouthfeel. Light body. Again, more aroma and flavor is very much needed for the brew. Missed the mark on this one. Not a good representation of this style. No character. Dull and boring.
