COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
British crystal malts give this beer its distinctly deep amber body and a nutty aroma that persists throughout the glass. The soft underlying hop bitterness is tempered with the flowery aroma of the U.K. Golding hop. Like its namesake, Bulldog Amber Ale is tough on the exterior but with a soft disposition. This malty morsel makes the perfect pairing to hot wings or hand tossed pizza. Serve in a glass at 4 degrees celcius. Unpasturized.

Bottle via trade with Andrew - thanks! Mild caramel malt and some dusty earthiness. Okay, but not really my style typically.

Not my favorite. Like this brewery, and usually they do a great beer... but this one wasn’t that great... just okay.

A really nice beer! Toasted notes in the aroma. Beautiful auburn in color with flowers and honey on the palate. Great local beer.

341ml bottle pours amber in color with a small off-white head and little lacing. Aroma of caramel malt. Taste is caramel malty sweetness with a mild hop bitterness. A decent beer for this style.

bought a Half Pints Taster 12 pack one day for a buddy and I. The pour is a amber brown with a thin cap of beige head. The nose is light with some sweet biscuit and caramel, a light hop and some nuttiness. The taste is average and similar to the nose with a nice floral hop finish and a somewhat boring malt of light caramel and grains. A crisp brew with a somewhat light mouthfeel. Overall, a good session amber ale.

341mL bottle, pours orangey amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma of dry caramel malts. Flavour of dried fruits (apricot, orange), caramel malts and a touch of sweetness. Quite decent amber.

Pours a semi-transparent golden orange colour with a half thumb of head which dissipates into islands with a little lacing. A floral wheat scent, with a grassy finish. A bit of a nut malt also present and a very mild hop scent on the finish. T - The mildest flavour from the Half Pints line-up that I’ve had the pleasure of trying to-date. That being said, it is still quite nice with a very sweet caramel, a bit of vanilla and some very light nutmeg flavour on the finish. The mild hops come through on a bit of a bitter finish, but the flavours are very nicely balanced. M - Quite light on the palette, and bubbles up nicely on the tongue. Quite smooth. D - Overall, quite a delicious amber ale, goes down smooth and has a nicely balanced flavour. Bit of sweet and a bit of bitter. Half Pints produces yet another winner in my books!
