COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
British crystal malts give this beer its distinctly deep amber body and a nutty aroma that persists throughout the glass. The soft underlying hop bitterness is tempered with the flowery aroma of the U.K. Golding hop. Like its namesake, Bulldog Amber Ale is tough on the exterior but with a soft disposition. This malty morsel makes the perfect pairing to hot wings or hand tossed pizza. Serve in a glass at 4 degrees celcius. Unpasturized.

Dark amber pour with a pillowy white head. Roasty caramel and light citrus aroma, some bready notes. Malty caramel and soft citrus flavour, sweet with a light bitterness, and slightly metallic. Very nice amber, and definitely better on tap.

Pours a clear copper with a moderate white head that leaves tons of lace all up the glass. Aroma is sweet caramel, biscuits, nutty and lightly floral. Taste is caramel, chocolate, citrus, medium lingering bitterness, biscuits with a bit of a creamy mouthfeel.

On tap at beer revolution, the dry hoped version. Pours a clear golden amber with a lacey white head and small ring. Aroma of caramel, grass, earth and light floral esters. Taste is caramel, sweet fruits, grass and some light bitterness and a seminary finish. Overall a bit on the hoppy side but a refreshing amber ale.

Sample at Picaroon's Brewers Bash. Finally got my Manitoba tick. Deep amber colour. Pretty standard amber ale stuff, biscuit and caramel with a little hop bitterness. Overall, good, but nothing unusual. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle via trade with Andrew - thanks! Mild caramel malt and some dusty earthiness. Okay, but not really my style typically.

Not my favorite. Like this brewery, and usually they do a great beer... but this one wasn’t that great... just okay.

A really nice beer! Toasted notes in the aroma. Beautiful auburn in color with flowers and honey on the palate. Great local beer.
