Light amber pumpkin pour with TONS of carbonation (Seriously, it took about 5 minutes to gradually get this beer into a pint glass because I was waiting for the foam to settle.) Flavor had a bign nutty malt backbone, peppery and not too sweet but had a finish like there was a little oxidation. Would love to try this on tap. Savvy1982 (372), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada

Pours medium amber, with a 1-finger white head that quickly reduces to a ring. Soft malt nose, sweet, decent grainy notes, caramel. Palate is spicy, sweet but not overly so, soft and reasonably rich. Nice, not special, but I’ll consider a second pint. jerc (4007), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Poured out a good ammount of very light tan fizz that lives only as a skim and leaves nice looking spotty lacing on top of the standard hazy dark amber coloured brew. The aroma is nice but does come across on the weak side nearing the bottom half of my glass. The aroma is mainly of soft slightly sweet fruit and floral notes, some bready malts and background nuttiness. The taste comes across with the hops being grapefruity and lemon but the hop spice and piney flavour is more prominent especially after its been in the glass for awhile. The malts are a bit weak but decent enough. There is also a slight sour note. The mouthfeel is ok with good carbonation, sort of smooth, soft malt middle, medium bodied and has a nice malt finish with some bitterness.
