3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, shared with my in laws. This bottle has 18 months cellar age-- it is from the first batch put out by Half Pints. I drank it fresh but didn’t rate it, and as I recall, I thought it to be sweet and hot and a bit harsh. Well, this baby has aged beautifully! Orange-kissed gold with a soft dense light gold head. Rich bready malty aroma, honey undertones. Soft, slightly chewy malts, sweet with notes of floral honey. Not a hint of alcohol. So smooth and silky, rich and sweet. Definitely improved with age. Sublime.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Merci Luke!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy yellow pour. Big white head. Whoa, lots of alcohol. Almost overpowers everything. Some wheat and grass.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Woah this is over the top sweet. There are some citrus notes from the hops but they are completely drowned out by this overly sweet beer. Not enjoyable to my tastes.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Rating #972 - February 12, 2014 - $7.99 CAD for a 650mL from Coop, 11%. Aroma is brown sugar, wild honey, lemon tea. Pours a rich golden, barely there white head. Medium carbonation, heavy alcohol warmth. Not unbalanced though, this truly has a depth of character that extends beyond 70+ IBU and 11%+ ABV. The honey and citrusy, spicy, piny hops meld together into something truly inspiring.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 22, 2014 Wow, this is a mouthful. Where to start..... brown sugar and honey on the tongue. A slight head. Very heavy body. Rich flavour - dried fruit e.g. plums, raisons, cherries. High, high alcohol that lingers in the mouth. Pours hazy, amber colour that is cloudy with yeast. Aroma of caramel, brown sugar, dark dried fruits and honey. This beer jumps out of the glass and whacks you. You won’t forget it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sugary sweet scent of fruits, yeast, and bubblegum. A heavy creamy ale with a taste akin to the scent. Apple, lots of alcohol, sweet, and delicious.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2013-01-21. Crisp amber body small white head.
Aroma of light alcohol and sweet grains. Muted leafy green hops.
Flavour is sweetish malt, lightly tanniny, dryish grains in the finish. Wheat? Smooth avg plus to full bodied palate, light carbonation. Okay, enjoyable but a small glass is plenty. Bottle cellared six months, via trade with tbadiuk
