Bottle from Brewery Creek:
Pours a medium amber colour with a nice off white head.
Malty aroma, some dusty wet wool tones, floral hop coming through later.
Flavour was not as hoppy as I’d hoped. Malt dominated body with a yeasty taste on the fringes. light to medium bitter finish

Jul 13, 2008 Bottle. Good relaxed, pine hop nose,not overdoing the resins.
Hazy golden, nice lacing egshell foam.
Light body - easy on the malt, a bit apricot, big on the pine hoppy side. Dry oily finish.
Rosmarin retronasal.

Mar 13, 2008 I was warned that this was a drain-pour by a friend, so I was prepared to be disappointed. Pours a slightly hazy dull amber with a nice creamy head with decent retention. Aroma is questionable - slightly corny, not particularly remarkable. Taste is not terrible - malt, a bit of an oily bil-like hop taste which grates a bit but otherwise better than the stack of pale ales and lagers I had the previous night at a local pub. Good carbonation, crisp finish. High alcohol definitely evident. There’s nothing terribly wrong with this beer - I think it would go quite nicely with a burger & fries or curry. Weird taste in the finish, though... can’t quite figure out what it is...
