COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This brew is gold in colour with a tight white head. The aroma is of sweet grain, while the body has a toasted honey character from the melanoidin malt we add. There’s an herbal hoppy nose from the Mount Hood hop (a Hallertau variety grown in the NW United States) and a fruity finish from a cool ale fermentation.

From a 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Bready nose. Flavors of biscuit and light citrus. Light bodied. Crisp finish.

Poured from 341mL bottle. Clear, pale golden yellow with white head. Aroma of yeast and grain. Same taste, a bit watery, almost lagery.

Pours a clear pale gold color with a small white head. Aroma of lightly toasted malts, light citrus esthers and some grassy hop aroma. Taste is toasted malts, sweet honey, light citrus and a nice crisp bitterness on the finish. Overall a crisp and refreshing kolsch.

nice job for the style, crisp on the tongue, good carbonation, refreshing, quite light - but not a light weight

Some good citrus and honey elements to the flavour, but oddly herbal and floral as well. Very drinkable, easygoing beer and a good nod to its German roots, but the flavour profile is just a bit odd for the style and feel.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2013 Ambre clair avec un petit col blanc. Un léger arôme de houblon. Le goût initial est houblon mais il est bien équilibré par le malt. Carbonatation moyenne.

An ale in the style of Kolsch. A great beer specific to Cologne, Germany. I had the pleasure of having the real thing while visiting Deutschland earlier this year. Great tradition with the coasters and whatnot. Anyway half pints version is a great ode to the Kolsch of Cologne - refreshing - slightly hoppy - great summer beer.

341ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a small white head and very little lacing. Aroma is lightly toasted malts. Taste is light malty sweetness with a bit of fruit and a mild hoppy bitterness. Decently balanced but nothing really special here. Average pale ale at best.
