COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This brew is gold in colour with a tight white head. The aroma is of sweet grain, while the body has a toasted honey character from the melanoidin malt we add. There’s an herbal hoppy nose from the Mount Hood hop (a Hallertau variety grown in the NW United States) and a fruity finish from a cool ale fermentation.

Pale golden pour. The aroma is light and spicy. There’s a little bit of floral hoppiness and a touch of lightly fruity estery character. Simple pale ale but decent.

Backlog. Bottle courtesy of Iphonephan at Travlr’s DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Cloudy yellow with bare white head. Malt dominates over lite floral and citrus hops. Eh.

ENG: 341ml bottle from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg. Poured into the tulip gives a golden, clean color with medium tan head which disappears quickly. Caramel and hoppy aromas with a hint of champagne. Tastes malty, caramel, hoppy, champagne, herbal and floral. Melanoidines / toast flavors in the aftertaste mixed with a long-lasting but delicate bitter.Overall quite balanced. Medium carbonation, medium body, easy-drinking.

Bottle to half-pint glass (thanks cards04). Looks solid; a slightly hazy golden orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of mild floral and herbal hops with notes of mild honey and a touch of toast. Tastes like it smells, but not as robust or balanced, with a medium light-bodied mouthfeel. A touch of bitterness. Not bad, but underwhelming.

Nice refreshing beer. It enhances your higher functioning ability when taken as a comparison against bud and coors drinkers.

Bottle shared at the DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Thanks to Iphonephan. Poured a slightly hazy yellow color with a small white head. Flavor was notes of malt, earthy hops. Flavor was mostly malty, light citrus and some floral character. Okay.
