2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy blond color. Aroma of brewer’s malt, light yeast. The flavor is too anonymous, the light malt is even joined by a vague vegetables trace. Simple.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A light blonde ale with a thick frothy white head. A very lemony malt and hops aroma, light sulfur note. In mouth, an interesting light malt with very herbal hops, one of the lightest Half Pints tasted too date. Quaffer. Bottle from Psicator32, thanks Kris.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
My Bottom Line:
This citrusy thirst quencher promotes delicate cereal flavors and polite herbal hops in a smoothly effervescent mouthfeel.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sumptuous head of foam crowns the hazy straw blond.
-The mouthfeel is a tad watery, but that means this is extremely drinkable.
-This base beer would also be wonderful for an assertively hopped brew.
-The finish is pretty easygoing, with a smidgen of hop bitterness and well dried out malts.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2010-09-22. Crisp yellow body with a nice white head. Sweet pale malt flavour has biscuity touches and light bitterness throughout, light hints of floral and straw to the hop character. 6+ Aroma has similar floral hop character. 6+ Smooth average palate. Decent, I’d happily drink it for an evening if it is what’s on but it is fairly mild, and the hop profile is not to my own tastes, I promptly switched to the Lil Scrapper after this one. Draft at King’s Head, Winnipeg.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Ultra-agressive carbonation puntctuate the veiled pale golden pour whose head is uncontrollably large. Pretty fresh, cerealic (white bread), grassy and floral nose has a fair bit of fruitiness in the honeymelon, pineapple, juicy family. Straightforward and surprisingly dry, this is a thirst-quencher that would be extremely successful were it not for its disturbingly intense carbonation that strips most of the flavours out of existence and bites the tongue constantly. One the conditioning issues are fixed, this would become one of the best session ales in Canada.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared by jerc and/or gregclow ... Hazy pale yellow with a smallish slightly off-white diminishing fizzy head (3-). Light grassy and honey aroma, a hint of green treefruit - no alcohol character, and a bit dry (6+). Tastes of grain and honey, a decent balancing dry herbal bitterness - balance is the key to this, it’s not spectacular, but it worked for me. Average body, a bit under-carbonated, with surprising bitterness and stickiness in the linger - leaves a dry, grassy/herbal, almost gritty aftertaste; needs more carbonation, but I like the earthiness and the fact that it isn’t overly sweet.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
In short: A blonde ale of some kind full of refreshing fruits and a nice tartness
How: Bottle 341ml. Consumed moderately fresh, about two months after we received the beer through private importation from the brewery
The look: Cloudy dark yellow topped by a large white head
In long: The light nose of garden flowers and tropical fruits. Taste is all about refreshment. Pineapples, citrus and more. Basically a tropical fruits salad. Add to that flower petals and aromatic herbs. All that on a soft bed of chewy neutral cereals. Refreshing tartness and a little spiciness in the finish. Strong attenuation for the style. Not much bitterness, if any. Body is slim and carbonation is a little too much for this slim body. Certainly not a traditional north-american pale ale, if a pale ale at all. I don’t care, I overall I enjoyed this beer. Not something to share in a tasting and not something to drink on a cold winter day. This really is a refreshing summer beer. There are plenty of those refreshing summer beer out there but this one manages to have its own personality. Another good Half Pints beer. This one is underrated. Current average is 2.9!?!?!? You have got to be f**kin kidding me. Absurdly underrated, this is a very good beer. And no I am not crazy. Nobody has ever called my crazy. Although I have often been described as the type of person who might own 80 cats. But not crazy. Never.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a bright clear yellow gold with a densely bubbly white head that laces gracefully for the top half of the glass. Aroma is floral and buttery. Flavours of honey-on-toast and light perfumey fruit. Soft creamy mouthfeel, medium sweetness and low bitterness. Actually very tasty.
