Bottle from Brewery Creek:
Pours an opaque dark brown with a medium tan head. Strong coffee and dark choc. aromas.
Coffee flavour with some chocolate malt tones and a dry bitterness towards the finish.

F - Nice bitter coffee flavor

O - This is the only coffee I drink is this. Had it with a truffle at a brewry open house. Wow was that good.

Apr 14, 2008 Darker brown with a thinner texture. Nice foamy tan head. Nice strong coffee and roasted malt aroma. Starts off with a bitter coffee flavour that is quite nice. Quickly thins out and leaves you wanting more maltiness. Good simple version of a stout.

Mar 11, 2008 Black, lasting brown head.Nice dry roasty nose with a hint of fruit. More of same in flavor, heavy espresso roast, decent bitterness in finish, but do I detect a slight cat piss taste a la citrus hops?. Strange...
