Commercial Description:
Our Stir Stick Stout is robust with ruby highlights and a generous addition of fresh ground, locally roasted Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee. The beans lend a distinct chocolate aroma that blends well with the roasted barley and malty sweetness. A woody bitterness from the Fuggles hop variety rounds out this ale and makes it the perfect match for barbequed buffalo burgers or sweet desserts like chocolate lava cake. Serve in a glass at 8 degrees celcius. Unpasturised.

Darker brown with a thinner texture. Nice foamy tan head. Nice strong coffee and roasted malt aroma. Starts off with a bitter coffee flavour that is quite nice. Quickly thins out and leaves you wanting more maltiness. Good simple version of a stout.

Black, lasting brown head.Nice dry roasty nose with a hint of fruit. More of same in flavor, heavy espresso roast, decent bitterness in finish, but do I detect a slight cat piss taste a la citrus hops?. Strange...
