Brewed with divine inspiration and a combination of pale 2-row, raw wheat, and oats, this ale is steeped with a complex blend of spices including coriander, Curacao orange peels, and Kaffir lime leaves. It is hopped with Centennial and Czech Saaz for a citrus flower finish. Beneath the bright white head, the cloudy golden body holds a surprising depth of flavours with pepper, grapefruit, and a vibrant acidity. Serve at 6 C. in a tumbler. Unfiltered. 19 IBUs.

Bottle shared with northropfrye. Colour of sunshine, slightly cloudy body. White head, dissipates rather quickly. Subtle, slightly sweet aroma. Tastes sweetly bitter...

Do not be drunk with wine, but be filled with the Holy Spirit. Bottle poured into Hoegaarden glass. Light yellow golden body, slightly hazy, light white head, not much retention. Sweet yeasty aroma, a touch of herbs and honey. Quite dry actually. Taste is herbaceous, Belgian yeast, wheat, grainy. Refreshing. Nice witbier.

Bottle. Very light pale yellow, slightly cloudy, with a thin and splotchy white head. Aroma is not sweet and citrusy as expected - rather bready, yeasty and just a touch of citrus and spice, like a light tripel. Flavour is very dry and bready, yeasty, almost earthy; very little fruit or sweetness. A very nicely refreshing beer, but not what I expected. Huh.

Pours a very clear golden, minimal amount of white foam. The aroma is herbal and floral from the hops, with a slight Belgian yeast breadiness to it - quite sweet, hint of lemon. The taste is sort of bitter from the hops, notes of cascade popping out followed by a bit of a gritty graininess from the wheat, bit of straw, somewhat sweet and topped off with a bit of lemon. Not what I expected for a witbier - I easily prefer Weizen Heimer over this when it comes to the wheat ale department but this one is very smooth, easy to drink, doesn’t leave any bad aftertaste.

Not quite sure why there is a separate rating for this one... Oh well. Pours a light lemon colour. Aromas of banana, Belgian yeast, a touch of citrus. Really effervescent. Nice sweet Belgian candy flavours.. Light and refreshing. A nice wit beer.

Bottle at bu11zeye’s. Yellow hazy golden wheat color with a small fluffy white head. Nose is hairspray lemon and the bathroom cleaning chemical ’’scrubbing bubbles.’’ Tastes about the same and there might even be a bit of onion. Decent lasting finish and mouthfeel. OK.
