Commercial Description:
Brewed with divine inspiration and a combination of pale 2-row, Vienna, and medium crystal malts, this snappy ale is finished with East Kent Goldings and Czech Saaz hops. A special blend of yeast strains creates a malty, fruity aroma with a decidedly spicy finish. Try it with the Belgian classic mussels and pomme frites or falafel, fresh pita, and roasted garlic Tzaziki. Serve at 6 C. in a wide mouthed chalice. Unfiltered. 22 IBUs

Bottle courtesy of Piscator34: Poured a deep amber almost burgundy color ale with a medium foamy had with average retention and almost no lacing. Aroma of spices and dry hops is quite interesting; you can definitely recognized Saaz in there. Taste is also dominated between some spices (which may be attributable to the type of yeast used) and some dry hops (probably Saaz). I thought the malt profile was a bit too discreet and the body was a bit light for the style. Not bad but definitely not the best from this fine brewery.

Bottle shared with GregClow, Jerc, and Blankboy, Greg’s bottle. Nice mild malt aroma. Deep orange, small white head. Great taste- refreshing, lots of hops, some sugar. Spicy. Good stuff.

Bottle (650ml) shared with GregClow, jerc & tupalev -- courtesy of GregClow. Pours a hazy amber-orange with a small diminishing white head. Aroma’s sweet and grainy along with brown sugar, wood and...I’m not sure frankly, it’s hard to place. Flavour’s sugary sweet, malty and yeasty along with barley and light hops. Medium bodied. Pretty good, I enjoyed it.

Bottle via trade with piscator34 - shared with jerc, blankboy and tupalev. Ruby-amber with a small head. Aroma of sweet barley cereal with interesting herbal and woody notes that I can’t quite place. Flavour follows - it’s good, but hard to properly describe. Good mouthfeel. A bit mild and unexciting, but I could have a nice session with this stuff...

Pours a hazy amber body, with a small off white head. Inscrutable aroma is a touch muted and defies my efforts to tease it apart. The best I can do is ‘light malt, grains and unmalted barley’, and I probably would not have identified the barley if my drinking companions had not observed it. Pleasant malty flavour is also fairly mild, with light caramel malt accented by a mild to moderate hop bitterness and the quiet grains of the aroma. (6+) Average palate. I liked what I found, but that was not much – too mild. 6-7/3-3+/6+/3/13-14<P> …Excuse me. Are you the Judean People’s Front?

Lightly grainy aroma has plenty of fruity esters but seems a bit worty. Nutty and caramel malts play well earthy, floral, lightly spicy hops and decent bitterness that keeps the sweetness from becoming cloying. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Bottle sampled with Keith, Tony and Oakes.

A nice clean dark amber ale with a thick off white head. Pleasant aroma of nutty caramel and fresh mash. with light bubble gum. In mout, a very intense roasted malt, nutty, with light hopping, and fruity esters. Medium bodied. Overall, enjoyed by all. Thanks Piscator!

Bottle. Pours a murky brown-orange body with a small white ring of head. Sweet cereal aroma including notes of caramel and potpourri. Coating, smooth body with cereal and mild fruitiness. Finishes with syrupy honey notes.
