Commercial Description:
Brewed with divine inspiration and a combination of pale 2-row, Vienna, and medium crystal malts, this snappy ale is finished with East Kent Goldings and Czech Saaz hops. A special blend of yeast strains creates a malty, fruity aroma with a decidedly spicy finish. Try it with the Belgian classic mussels and pomme frites or falafel, fresh pita, and roasted garlic Tzaziki. Serve at 6 C. in a wide mouthed chalice. Unfiltered. 22 IBUs

(650ml bottle) Purchased from Brewery Creek, Vancouver. Pours a medium, lasting frothy almond head with deep copper. Nose of perfume hops, good roasted malt, good yeastiness. Flavour is nicely balanced, decent malt base with a nice yeasty finish.

Dark amber brown. Toasted malt aroma predominates. Faintly spicy and fruity elements to the flavour profile, but really this is all about the malt it seems to me. Toast and toffee, slightly nutty.

Bomber from Brewery Creek: Pourd a dark copper colour with a medium off white head. Aroma was biscuity malt, some sweet brown sugar, orange zest. Flavour was malt forward, strong vienna malt presence...almost like drinking an amber lager at times. Some vanilla/spice tones, caramel, hop presence asserts itself in the finish. A little light in body, though clean and drinkable.
