Nothing beats kicking back on the deck at the cabin and taking in a classic Manitoba sunset. Our Hefeweizen captures that jovial atmosphere with a hazy golden body from a blend of wheat, two-row pale, and Munich malts. German grown Hallertau hops balance the fruity wheat malts with a light, spicy character. Finally, a burst of banana and clove aromas fill the air due the specially selected yeast culture. Try it with a light meal of grilled bratwurst, hot mustard, and potato salad. Serve at 6 C. in a tall Weizen glass. Bottle will contain sediment – which should be poured into the beer. 13 IBU

Pours a hazy yellow color with a finger of thick white head. Aroma is banana and cloves. Taste is a little spicy but also a bout sweet. Maybe a little too carbonated for my liking

Poured a golden yellow colour with a micro-head to the bottom. Not much lace. Taste is wheat with nice banana, cloves and citrus. Everything is nicely balanced, an easy drinker. I’d buy it again.

Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a short loose white head diminishing rapidly to nothing, no lacing. (3/5) Nose is wheat, lemon, banana, cloves, bubblegum. (8/10) Taste is low sweet, mild bitter, mild tart/sour, salt(?). (8/10) Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp tart lightly spicy finish. (4/5) That’s different! Light and crisp, with distinct lemony notes and a crisp finish. I just went reading reviews and nobody else mentions it, but I swear this has got a lightly salty finish - heck, it’s almost a gose! I like this a lot, and it’s the second one from this brewery that I’ve really enjoyed - which means they’re officially on my short list for checking out additional brews. (17/20)

Bottle. Hazy goldenrod colour, smaller head. Aromas of orange, lemon rind, coriander, wheat, yeast, and a hint of nuttiness. Soft, mellow flavours of citrus and light spices, grains and again, a little nutty. Nicely balanced, easy drinking. One of the better hefeweizens I've tried, without a doubt.

Aroma is of yeast, clove and floral sweetness. Taste is the sweet graininess paired with a surprisingly bitter hop character. Appearance is a hazy yellow / amber body. Lace head retains well.

Pours a cloudy gold with a small minimal white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, clove, light citrus and some bubblegum. Taste is banana, clove, wheat, spicy tones. An excellent balance between cloves and fruity esters. Overall an excellent hefe.
