BeerMan520 (1), Pennsylvania, USA does not count Apr 7, 2004 For what this is...an Asian beer...it is good. It isn't the best beer, but it is significantly better than TsingTao, Hue, and 33 Export. It complimented our Asian dishes. The Japanese restaurant in our area gaves us sample bottle with our meal. Apparently, Halida will be available this summer (2004) in the United States. I would have it again. JK (2501), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Jul 23, 2007 This is one of the best pale lagers I have had anywhere. it has a nice apple cider and cinnamon aroma. Pale yellow and well carbonated, great for very hot weather with only a hint of fruit in the flavor. Skyview failed in his attempt to find a bad foreign lager.
badgerben (3160), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Jul 27, 2007 I think Skyview brought this batch of random beers from who-knows-where. Pale yellow color with a thin head. A little bit of an apple aroma. Clean, grainy taste with an almost fruity finish. Not nearly as bad as the average rating shows. BDR (1929), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Jul 20, 2007 thanks to skyview for sharing another notch on my country list. A surprisingly good beer for a pale later. Light gold color with an apple aroma. Sweet grainy body with a light apple character and faint apple character Skyview (2922), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 23, 2007 Picked up 12-oz bottle from John’s Market Place in Portland, Oregon. Pours a shiny golden brass-like brew with a slow dissolving white head that leaves behind a spotty lacing and ring. Aroma of light break-like malt, green vegetables, a touch of berries and some sugar. Taste is well carbonated, multi-grain with fruit and a light to medium body. Finish is slightly tart with a light bread and tobacco aftertaste. Actually, this imported brew from SE Asia turned out pretty decent.
