harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Aug 8, 2006 This was kind of shitty. Although very crisp and clean on the palate, had mushed down muddled watery flavors with just a bit of lemony grassiness.
Capa (665), Yokosuka, Japan Jun 4, 2008 I guess this would be considered a "tick-mark" beer for me as I knew going in it wouldn’t be much of a beer- but I was pretty surprised to see a Vietnamese beer at my local market, so sue me. Can. Could pass for tainted water with very minimal white head. Faint aroma of sweet malts, apple, and hay. Flavor is just as faint and consists of the same profile as the aroma. Watery body. If you like watery cider in beer form than this may be a winner. It’s not "bad;" it’s just not much of anything, really. omhper (10140), Stockholm, Sweden May 22, 2008 Canned. Clear pale golden, brief head. Cidery nose. Sweet and heavily metallic. Empty body with some syrup and vegetable soup. No bitterness, but rusty metal and syrup keeps cloying. Aggresively bad and very Carlsbergy. Ethereal (723), London, Greater London, England Jan 22, 2008 330ml can brought back from Vietnam by a friend. Pours light gold with a frothy, diminishing white head. Strong aroma of malt and hay with a bit of sulphide. Tastes sweet with an apple flavour coming through. Soft, watery finish. TheBeerOrg (1370), Kentucky, USA Dec 20, 2007 Pours very light yellow with a fully receding white head. Aroma of caramel and mild toasted malt. Taste is very neutral, lightly sweet with mild herbal hoppiness. Mouthfeel is light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Pretty typical macrolager, perhaps more watery and fewed flaws... SpudClampDawg (898), Jasper, Indiana, USA Nov 28, 2007 330ml bottle: To start off positive, this bottle had a great cap that I will gladly add to my collection. Now for the negative - pours clear yellow with a white head that instantly fizzles gone. The nose is corn and hay, maybe some DMS. Light body with very little carbonation. Notes of light caramel, creamed corn, apple, cinnamon and honey make up the body. Drinkable, but not much more.
