Nice dark appearance with a creamy browny-white head. A nutty, smooth smell, with a very sweet, nutty, stouty taste. Easy to drink, smooth and palatable.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Wellington - Birmingham. A black beer with areasonable white head. The aroma is nicely roasty and hoppy whereas the taste is mellow and an easy drink. I found it quite stouty but a lot of these beers seem hard to distinguish.

Cask at Babington Arms, Derby. Bit of a malty nose, practically black body, frothy white head, pleasing sweet taste with a bit of bite to it, nice bitter aftertaste.
