Our Farmhouse Red brings malt and caramel goodness without end. The definition of easy drinking, this beer provides waves of rich barley flavor and a tantalizing finish with nutty notes. Let your bog pony rest, put down that turnwrest plough, and sink in.

This is more of an amber ale than a farmhouse. There isn’t much funk, but its a well balanced ale dominated by the malts which give it a nutty, caramel flavor.

@ South Denver Beer Fest 2013. Clear brilliant amber, no head. Very little aroma of barn funky crystal malts and earthy hops. Flavor is initially earthy and biter, with a touch of earthy light caramel to follow. Pretty ’meh’

I have to say it’s delicious! I think it’s the best tasting beer I’ve ever had. It’s very smooth and seems maybe a little sweet, which offsets the alcohol. Absolutely delicious! At 52 years old, I’m not new to beer. I had my first Schlitz in 1972. My wife, who doesn’t like beer very much, agrees with me.
