UPDATED: AUG 10, 2011 Rerate from bottle: I get far more aromatic hops this time around, a stable white lace, good balance and a elegant sparkly mouthfeel - very nice. Old rating 6 2 7 2 12 Bottle. Pale golden, lowish foamy head. Metallic bittering hop aroma. Lightbodied, sparkly. Light metallic aromatic Spalt and Hallertau hops, grassy aftertaste. Good thirstquencher.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond fluffy head. Moderately sweet and subtle grainy malty aroma with lemon-fruity and slightly flowery and herbal hops. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Mildly malty and subtle fruity taste with herbal accents; moderately dry and bitter-sweet finish with present herbal and slightly flowery aroma hops. Pretty good. 01.VI.10

(Draught at Schwarzwaldstube, Berlin, 24 July 2010) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Crisp, malty nose with notes of grain, grass, bread and hints of tropical fruit. Malty taste with grass, bread, tropical fruit and a well balanced, grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, a touch of sweetness. Crisp, clean and tasty.

Tap at the Schwarzwaldstuben on Tucholskystr. Clear, bright golden with a bright white rocky head. A really nice, gentle, soft, citric maltiness resolving to just the perfect bread finish. Touch of sweetness leading off but that’s overtaken by the light bitterness. Balanced hops, medium body. Bright and friendly.
