pivnizub (7240) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - OCT 6, 2011
Bottle: Amber coloured, hazy, no head to speak of, caramel and necrotic yeast (turpentine, paint-thinner) in the nose, toasty-malty background; moderate sweet and slightly sourish flavour, medium bodied; light caramelly-wheaty finish with a sourish aftertaste. Not the best Dunkelweizen........

JorisPPattyn (6746) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUN 23, 2009
Short-lived dirty off-white head over hazy dark amber-red beer. Rainwater, sour banana, wheat (very outspoken) and faint citrus. Roasted malt with classic fruity esters, bit of hay; sweet rather than (wheat)sourish. Medium bodied, again remarkable rainwater quality, very limpid. Aftertaste carries the wheat sourishness. Nowhere bad, but unexciting.

Ungstrup (23984) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 2, 2007
Bottled. An unclear dark orange-brown beer with a thin fast disappearing beige head. The aroma has OK notes of wheat, caramel, and banana, but also a not so nice light note of burnt plastic. The flavor has strong notes of caramel and wheat, leading to a dry wheaty end.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy orangey brown with a small, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and banana. Medium-bodied with rather discreet fruity notes and an underlying tartnes. Almost no aftertaste. A beer that starts promising but really fades. 160806
