Bottle: Dark ruby-amber coloured, small off-white foamy layer; delicate caramelly, faint cardboardy, metallic aroma; slightly dry malty "base", quite thin bodied; shorter malty finish with a touch of bitterness and a very faint tinge of coffee. Not very unpleasant, drinkable, unspectacular....

Black with a nice beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, fruit and caramel.

Primär herber Beginn mit sehr trockenem dunklen Malz. Somit ist der Mittelteil zu trocken, laff, kaum würzig. Dann etwas pappig und bitter. Kurzer, zu milder Abgang. 8/7/7/6/8/6

Bottle. Sweet chocolate caramel malt flavor. Dark brown color with small head. Sweet chocolate caramel malt flavor with moderate hoppy finish. Body a bit watery. Okay but not great.

Bottle. Dark amber colour with medium creamy off-white mostly lasting head. Aroma is roasted malt. Sweet flavor. Bitter finish.

Medium amber colour and clear. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Moderate malty aroma, toasted. Moderate sweet flavor. Creamy texture.

Bottle courtesy Hansen. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Very week roasted. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a tan and slowly collapsing head. Roasted malt aroma. Flavour is mild roasted malt, light bitterness coming through. Quite simple. Lingering roasted malt finish mixed with a nicely balanced bitterness.

Bottled. Dark brown with a tan head. Lightly sugary sweetish aroma, slightly herby, toast malt and a little artificial. Crisp, thin, watery, toasty roasty taste with cardboard and a metallic finish. Not unpleasant, and ceretainly easy to toss back quickly, but... This is definitely a Dunkel, just not a very good one.

(bottle, from pivnizub) Clear, dark amber colour with a reddish shine and a diminishing off-white frothy head. Rather unpleasant papery malty nose with a touch of vegetables and metal. Watery, light bitter flavour, dry malty taste with notes of toffee; light bitter finish with metal in the aftertaste. Not very pleasant.
