Some say she’s the luxe life. Exuberant. Snappy. Bright. Chatty. Sunlit. Lush. Passionfruit. Blueberries. Sparkling. Refined. Considered. Dry. And frankly, refreshing.

A lighter style of beer that has a nice easy drinking flavour profile. Tropical fruits with a citrus zest. Soft carbonation.

Yellow colored with hazy appearance, little white head. Extremely rich aroma with peach, even blueberry note, grassy flowers. Thin to medium bodied, little bit of watery palate. Flavor is more fruity in start, aftertaste turns to strongly peachy-flowery. Biting end. Refreshing one.

Tap @ Hallertau. Hazy light gold pour with a short white head leaving moderate lace. Fruity, vaguely sweet nose.Medium body with fine, moderate (natural) carbonation. Berries, nuts, biscuit, clean. Short finish is nicely balanced. Maybe a touch of sugar in the middle and finish, but very nice overall. Eminently sessionable, but you’ll have a hard time resisting the other brews in their lineup!

330ml bottle. Thanks to Cam & Marita. Clear wonderful gold hue, thin white creamy/fine bubbly head quickly diminishing to a ring with some lacing. Mixture of pleasant but light tropical and citrus fruits, brown spices, vanilla, a bit of green hay, and interesting but not unpleasant yeast aromas - dough, sweat, and soap. Good balance between sweet and bitter - nice taste but short duration. A bit too thin and watery, soft carbonation, crisp dry astringent finish. Nicely marketed beer, overall it is nice but very lacking in substance.

on tap at Hashigo Zake - grains and hops and yeasty nose - creamy, slightly fizzy, medium to light bodied, quick dry-ish finish with good mellow grain characteristics - light yellow, slightly murky, good lacing and minimal head; - light combinations of sweet, and bitter; Not outstanding, but very solid.

Tap at Hashigo Zake. Pouring pale gold. Quite bready aroma and bit of yeast. Bit nutty on the back of the smell. Pretty light, thin body, kind of waterly, but crisp and bitter finish.

Bottle. Straw gold with a whispy head. Yeasty sort of nose, some fresh dough with a bready malt backnote and faint hints of pineapple. More malt and thin tropical fruit notes with a dash of fresh cut grass. Finishes a little thin. Little underwhelmed by this and i get the feeling that fresher it would be really tasty - a fresh pint on a hot summers day and this might go down quite nicely. Tasty enough, if a little subdued

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2009 Draught at the brew pub, a slight haze to the golden colour with a white bubbly head. A swet citrus fruit hop aroma. A clean palate, with flowery and citrus fruit flavours. The finish is crisp and dry.

Pours pale gold and slightly hazy with a pillowy white head. Aroma is of mango and melon. As you sip, the best part of this beer reveals itself - the full, rounded, mouthfilling character. It’s incredibly moreish, with a sweet middle palate, fruity complexity, and late dry finish. One of the most refreshing beers in NZ.

Light yellow in colour, smokey flavour to begin with, gets better as warm up. Tropical aroma. Dry finish.
