Bottle at Pado. Hazy orange beer with a slightly yellowish lacy head. Yeasty and spicy aroma. The taste is pending to be a bit sour with coriander notes ending in a mild bitterness at the back of the mouth.

Bottle at RBSG 2006. Rusty amber. Aroma is flowery and yeasty. Taste amps up on the floral notes and yeast with bigger fruit coming through and sweeter malts. Body is bubbly and medium-full overall. Finishes sweeter with more flowery flavors, yeast and sweet malts.

kramer (5174) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2006
12 oz bottle, 2006 RBSG. Pours a cloudy orangish gold color under a small film of a head. Aroma is fruity with some caramel sweetness and light yeast. Flavor is fruity with a semi dry crisp finish and light yeast. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with alot of fizzy carbonation. Overall, not very distinct in any way. Just sort of a generic Belgian Strong, though after seeing the ABV on this I will say that the alcohol was well hidden.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2007 Bottle from Utobeer. I see a lot of people describing a hazy appearance, but mine is very much clear. First time with this beer, so unsure if this is good or bad? Lovely orange colour with moderate white head. Aroma is rich and spicy - a punch to the nose. Tastes of a bag of dried fruit trail mix - raisins, dates, apricots and bananas. Spicy rum finish to please the belly. Pleasantly surprised by this one. A keeper indeed.

Bottle. Hazy orange-brown colour. Nose is peppery and shows orangey citrus fruit. Fairly sweet, with some nuts and caramel, with an interesting, almost toasted flavour. Finish, is warming, with some peppery alcohol and some citric bitterness. This was quite nice and well balanced for its strength.
