COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Das traditionelle Getränk der Halloren ist das Bier, was sich unter anderem im bis heute gepflegten Brauch des Pfingstbierfestes widerspiegelt. Dort wird - in allen ungraden Jahren - gemeinsam mit Angehörigen der befreundeten Universität angestoßen. Halloren Spezial: Ein Bier für Halle – heute und in Zukunft. Um die 1200-jährige Geschichte der Stadt Halle und mit ihr die der Halloren zu feiern und zu würdigen, gibt es jetzt ein exklusives Bier: Halloren Spezial. Gebraut wird es aus sonnengereifter Gerste, hochwertigen Malzen und bester Hefe – Zutaten von besonderer Güte, wie sie einem Bier der Halloren würdig sind. Ihr Geist – das Althergebrachte zu schätzen, wahren und pflegen – steht Pate bei der Entstehung eines hervorragenden Bieres. Halloren Spezial ist das Ergebnis einer Kooperation der MAMMUT Brauerei mit den Halloren, der traditionsreichen „Salzwirker-Brüderschaft im Thale zu Halle“.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Light grassy and bitter aroma. Subdued sweet malt flavoured. Light bitterness coming through to the finish. Nice, easy and crisp. Mild bitter finish.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Very zippy, nice head. Starts spicy and malty, becomes sourish in the end. An average Helles!
