Draft. Almost black, light brown head. Aroma of slightly boozy coffee grounds. Taste is dark and roasty choffee and chocolate.

Tap at Fermentoren. Full haze near black pour with higher carbonation and webby lace. Decent retention. Nose is raisin, salt, soy, pumpernickel, charred plum. Some peanut shells, old grape jam, poopy/manure. Taste is lemon, sweet tarts, dirty, soapy, tangy, soil. Ick.

Pours a black colour with a beigeish head. Aroma of roasted malts, licorice and some nutty notes. Flavour of roasted malts, licorice, nuts, chocolate and caramel. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and a malty bitter finish. Great.

Pours pitch black with a light brown head. Nice roasty aroma with notes of salty licorice, chocolate and coffee. Taste is roasty and slightly smooth with notes of licorice, chocolate and coffee. Finish is roasty with notes of salty licorice. Nice, well balanced salty porter.

Pours pitch black color with small head. Aroma of ash dry chocolate, sweetish caramel malts, liquorice, tozasted malts and topacco. Flavour of dark berries, mostly bilberries, toasted malts, dry dark chocolate and ripe dark fruit notes. Very nice and balanced brew.

Aroma is rather nice with lots of coffee, some chocolate and hints of peat. Flavour is dry with well roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and hints of peat. Some sourish vomit aromas do occur at the end of the glass. Good porter, this one surprised me.

Bottled. Very dark brown beer with a creamy and lacy head. The aroma is rich in bready maltiness with soft and chocolatey roastedness and a hint of smoke. Starts sweetish but dries as the bitterness increases in the finish. Dark ripes, a hint of yeasty spiciness and some molasses in the finish. Medium to full bodied, silky texture. Very nice porter.

Bottle at Valhal, Frederikssund. Black with a medium beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, chocolate, fruit, licorice and coffee.

A fruity smelling, nice foam, dark beer of the porter type. The beer is like the fishermans goodlooking daughter. Sweet fruity and with a taste of licorice with a small peppermint overtone. Down to earth but too refined for working in a harbor. A nice beer for nice homes and relaxed company. Even for your own company, dvelling in introvert reflections.

Bottle. Black body with a medium offwhite head. Aroma is toasted malt, liquorice, coffee and chocolate. Flavor is coffee, chocolate, roasted malt. Pretty good.
