Rerated at DØE Odense tasting. This is much better. Aroma and flavour is more round, and has now also got some chocolate.

Draught at Københavns Øldage 2009, Valby. Pours a black color with a tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with some hints of licorice. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with some hints of coffee. Has a roasted malty dark chocolate finish.

Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2009, Valby. Pours a black beer with a lightbrown head. The aroma is roasted malt. The flavor is roasted barley. The palate is roasted (surprice!). Overall this beer is a little too roasted (well, surprice again).

Clear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hard roasted, light coffee, cresylic acidic. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught. [Beer festival 2009] Small beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Black color. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, liquorish, flower, grapefruit, chocolate. Medium to almost full bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet and bitter flavor in balance. Dry bitter and roasted malty finish.

Draught @ the brewhouse. Pitch black coloured. Light brown head. Roast, brown sugar and chocolate dominates the aroma. Flavour of roast, liqourice, coffee and chocolate. Has a light spiced touch. Medium to full bodied. Roasty end with a light touch of sweetness to take off the edge.
