Golden orange, slightly hazy color, elegant little carbonation. Aroma is mostly toffee. Flavor is interesting. Tastes a bit green. Dry flavor. A pleasure like most Belgian ales.

An unclear dark orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel as well as hints of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, while the mouthfeel is flat.

Bottle. Orange color and a small white head. Light sweet, hoppy, yeasty aroma and taste, light fruity. Medium body and a dry finish.

JorisPPattyn (6746) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 5, 2004
Orang-amber, very slight haze; heavily carbonated to orange tinted, dense head, some little lace. Very much cookie malt, and orange zeste, fruity and faint peppery. Sweet and fruity taste, alcoholic - much more than 6.5% ABV would lead one to expect - even liqueurish. Again spicey, but I cannot identify vanilla. OTOH, honey is quite plausible, albeit more outfermented than usual with honeybeers. Medium bodied, alcoholburn, dry in the finish. Honey flavour finally emerges warming up, at the end of the bottle. Only the MF gives away that this is not really a big beer. It has some characteristics of one, all the same.

Just a hint of vinegar sourness. Vanilla and apple in the flavor.
