Bottle at home. I can’t believe that the average rating of this beer is more than 3! It really made me wanna puke! The smell, the taste.. yuck! I walked around with this smell hangin’ around in my nose for about 2 days.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Monotone orange-amber beer with a off white quick disappearing head. This beer has almost no aroma. The taste is malty and is slight duff. You can notice some barnyard accents and hints of nutmegg. In the finale there are hints of bitter nutpeel, peache-pit and an unplesant bitterness of hops.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottle 30 cl) Beautiful golden amber, creamy off-white head leaving a fine lacework. Typical spicy, yeasty ale-nose. Pronounced yeastiness in the flavours also, with dry caramel notes. Rather light body and some alcohol in the finish. Spiced with honey and vanilla. Excellent. 200705

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orang-amber, very slight haze; heavily carbonated to orange tinted, dense head, some little lace. Very much cookie malt, and orange zeste, fruity and faint peppery. Sweet and fruity taste, alcoholic - much more than 6.5% ABV would lead one to expect - even liqueurish. Again spicey, but I cannot identify vanilla. OTOH, honey is quite plausible, albeit more outfermented than usual with honeybeers. Medium bodied, alcoholburn, dry in the finish. Honey flavour finally emerges warming up, at the end of the bottle. Only the MF gives away that this is not really a big beer. It has some characteristics of one, all the same.
