The aroma is very sweet and quite spicy with notes of cinnamon and cloves, but also with hints of berries. The flavor is sweet and very spicy - again cinnamon and cloves, but also with notes of wood and herbs.

Bottle courtesy Jacob one of my students. Creamy off-white almost lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and fruuity aroma. Moderate bitter roasted flavor. Chocolate notes. Moderate bitter nice fruity finish. Oily palate.

From tap. Purs almost cleat deep amber with a diminished off white head. Aroma is dry and breadish aroma, mild spiced. Dry and fruity flavoured with a mild sweetness. Light chemical note to this. Light malty into the finish. Smooth and easy.

Tap @ BBF ’08. Clear dark brown beer, beige head. Aroma of caramel, malts, rye. Flavour of rye, caramel, soft and sweet roasted malts. Medium bodied. More like a dubbel, rather sweet, but nice nevertheless.
