cgarvieuk (2541), Edinburgh, Scotland Jun 3, 2007 Deep ruby, grapefruit malt nose , very full flavour, little mouth fizz, sherberty and quite lemony on palate Grovlam (3201), Copenhagen, Denmark Jul 11, 2007 Bottle. Having friends with gluten and wheat allergy, I was happy to find the GFA and GFL which enabled them to enjoy a beer with us. For them it was fantastic to be able to share and experience something different then the usual dull mass produced beer with nothing that resembles malt. Large light brown creamy head that mostly lasted. Good display of thick lacework. Clear sparkling body with a dark amber color. Aroma of sweet malt and fruit, brown sugar, nutty and caramel, some spice and yeast. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet fruity flavor with a hint of bitterness. Fruity sweet finish. Nothing spectacular and very different to a regular Bitter, but still quit nice and drinkable I thought. Especially if you have allergy! Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 8, 2005 An amber beer with a nice light brown head. The aroma is very yeasty and spicy - should almost think it was Belgian. The flavor is very sweet - almost like candy, but with a nice acidity to it - something like a grapefruit caramel - if that exist. It also has a toffeeness to it, the mouthfeel is smooth, but it dies quickly on the palate. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 15, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with an off-white head. Mild citrusy hoppy aroma. Flavour is mild sweet citrus fruity. Very delicate hops flavour with a vague maltbase (obviously) but it seems in balance somehow. Mild sweet finish with a growing dry- and bitterness. johndoughty (1663), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England Feb 18, 2006 Bronze appearance.Sweetness that hits you as soon as you start sipping. Thick texture-if I ever drink glue full of sugar this is what it would probably taste like. The first beer I have tried from this brewery-its got to get better.
