A Mes rate: Cask in the Olde Market Tavern. Blond with a white head and lace. A typical sweet golden English ale and very dull for it. Maybe a little too sweet but that really is all that stands out. Inoffensive but my god I’m bored.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Maria (8587) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 6, 2007
Nice, but quickly disappearing head, that leaves a nice lace. The color is dark amber and the aroma is malty. The mouthfeel is dry and the flavour has a lot of roasted malt and citrus, that gives a nice bitterness. It’s like there is not room for other notes, but a bit of apple sneaks in. The finish is dry and a bit harsh. It’s both wild and quite tamed - so if you can accept both, this is a beer for you.
