Cask. At Market Porter, Borough. Pale gold with an average white frothy head. Dry, leafy, slightly sweet aroma. The taste follows - dry, a little sweeter, quite grassy - mild, no alcohol. Light body, a little astringent, quick-finishing; pretty characterless, and extremely light.

Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow (14 May 12) - clear deep gold ale, thin white head, floral hop aroma, good temperature, citrus, berry fruit, high carbonation, bit watery, bitter aftertaste

Cask at the Hobgoblin, Reading. Amber with a fast fading white head; earthy malt aroma; thinly bodied with a light citrus flavour supported by earthy malts and caramel; the finish is dry with a touch of pepper.

Cask at 5th English Rose Beer Festival, Luton, Bedfordshire. Gold with a white head. Not much aroma at first, then it suddenly disclosed a burst of old fashioned toasted malt. Unusual taste: I can only say it was cloying without being sweet. Concentrated grape juice perhaps. Some dryness at the finish. Strange stuff - quite rewarding.

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Clear medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, celler, light yeasty, earth. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. (030508)

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival.
Bright gold with a thin white film. Grassy, appley, young and pretty bad. Out of order.

Another malty ale, hops are there. Pleasant enough and not "another" hoppy summer ale.
