A Mes rate: bottle thanks to Tashi.
Lovely red brown colour with a bubbly off white head. Peachy fruity aroma with some pineapple and sweet malt in the background. Dry and dusty flavour with some alka seltzer like tangy character. Earthy malt is a little too earthy if you get me. Dry finish with a hint of bitterness. nothing special.

Cask conditioned handpump Victory Brighton. A hazy chestnut coloured beer with a slight ring of white bubbles. Fruity malty bready flavours. Nice autumnal notes. Fruity aroma with a touch of spice. Pretty nice.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber brown with a small off white head. Rough malt aroma with a touch of marmalade. Pleasant full sweet malt taste, a little peppery, with some bitterness. Hammerpot don’t seem to be getting the best of ratings, however I’ve had a couple this week. Martlet was pretty good. This one, I thought was first class. Well done.

Bottle Conditioned. Pours a very dark brown colour with no head. The aroma is of roasted malts. The taste is very watery and the roasted malts come through, and with a dry finish.

Bottle… Cloudy burnt-orange ale with no head. The aroma is of caramel and nuts. Medium-bodied and watery with expired carbonation. Not much at all going on with the flavor – thin with a watery finish. Bottle courtesy of TheCheeseMan! Can’t win them all.

I had this beer thanks to Cheeseman. Something was off, but I’m rating it just to get the tick. That’s a bummer.

Cask (Gravity) at Charlbury Beer festival 04-07-09 Pours hazy dark amber, another beer that whilst tasted fine, condition wise was a little too hazy. Some dusty hops show. Its fruity feels quite thick in the mouth, drinks well but never excites. A6 A2 F6 P3 Ov13 3.0
