A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival. Decent dark brown looks with a thin white film. A little raw and appley but some slight coffee and roasted malt notes just about save the day. Not amazing.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 chriso (7254) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2007
Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Very dark colour. Slightly vinous aroma. There’s some light malt in the flavour but generally its more fruity than roasty and the palate. The firm malt comes through more on the finish and it ends up quite dry and firm. Plenty of flavour for 3.2%. A very decent mild.
