Pale Ale.
A refreshing pale ale with six different hops from the US and New Zealand giving a complex citrus aroma. The subtle sweet malt flavour balances the fresh bitterness.
Our friend the brewing legend that is JK (James Kemp) formerly Head Brewer of Buxton, Senior brewer for Thornbridge and Fullers helped develop the recipe for this our very first beer.

Bottle @ THT December. Pours a hazy orange beer with a small white head on top. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, orange peel and some grapefruits. Nice, full on citric going on. Flavor is moderately bitter, loads of citrus going on again. Nice, sublte bitterness in the aftertaste, rounds off the flavors. Good stuff.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, off-white head. Piney, resinous, herbal hoppy aroma, biscuity, caramel malty background. Taste is bitter, piney and citrusy hoppy, resin and lemon notes, malty body contributes... well, body; flat carbo contributes to a slightly insipid impression.

33cl bottle @ home. Best before Jan 2015. Slightly hazy, amber colored, thin lasting white head. Gooseberries, grapefruit, herbs in aroma. Flavor has nettles, gooseberries, grapefruit, hint of caramel perhaps. Really dry bitter finish. Quite aggressive. Gooseberries are quite strong here. Thinnish body. Thirst quenching. I prefer a cleaner fruitier profile though.

330 ml bottle. Pours a copper colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of grapefruit, gooseberries and some biscuit. Flavour is rather juicy with gooseberries, peach, pine, grapefruity bitterness and biscuit. Some slightly unpleasant yeastiness. Light bodied and chewy mouthfeel. A bit thin. Good drinkability.
